Ceropegia strapliiformis m -
Is
a most curious flowering plant with stems very much resembling those of a Stapelia but
they grow much longer. The flowers are very singular with the corolla cut into
five segments free-spreading, reflexed and fringed with hairs. South Africa and
Swaziland. Growing in a 3 1/2" pot. 4 in stock @ $20.00.
Cynanchum marnieriam m - Known
as the "Dead Stick Plant". Is
a bushy sprawling stem-succulent with many, dark green or purplish leafless
branches, covered by irregular tubercles and minute hairs. Looks and feels like
rubbery, grey sticks and in the autumn, bright yellowish green lantern like
flowers sprout out of the entire length of each stem. Flowers, being five
greenish-brown petals uniting at the tips are reminiscent of Ceropegia.
Once the flowers start to fade, the little arms withdraw and look like little
octopi. Cutting from out mother plant. Madagascar. Growing in 3 1/2" pots. 7 in stock @ $15.00 each.
Fockea crispa m -
Sometimes found with the name Fockea
capensis. Is a succulent with a large, swollen base (caudex) and
wavy-edged leaves. Flowers
are small,
pale pink to white blooms that
appear in late summer to early fall on this vining succulent. Seed grown.

Sarcostemma insigne m - Sometime found as Cynanchum
insigne.
The flowers, however, have wonderful cup-like corollas of yellow-green shot
